The History of Table Tennis, in the beginning...
Where did the history of table tennis begin. In the beginning there was man, man made fire. OK we all know that but what about afterwards, well read on…
Back in the caveman days everyone was too busy with hunting and gathering to worry about having fun, I’m sure there was the odd “you hit me on the head and then I’ll hit you” type of fun where the main tool for this would have been the club of wood. Most of the fun would have been enjoyed by the caveman children play fighting. So yes as you can probably already tell there would have been no table tennis here. Then people started to communicate with more advanced words and started to want more from there fun. So they added these words to their games of “you hit me on the head and then I’ll hit you” putting them in after each accurate whack, “Aaaaaa, Oooooo, oweyyyyy, Grrrrrrr, Raaaooooooorr. So still no table tennis. Basically these games of “you hit me on the head and then I’ll hit you” was the only game they played for thousands of years getting more advanced using different tools. Clubs of wood became spears, spears became swords, swords became well it just kept going on and on until finally, they discovered table tennis. There were some other sports as well but we don’t need to worry about them. This is where the history of table tennis starts. Table tennis came and the game of “you hit me on the head and then I’ll hit you” (that had turned into something that people called war) was much less popular. Although people still did it there was more time for table tennis and less time for war, if only table tennis had come at an earlier stage.
